Access Lunchtime – Ribbon & Tree Builder

Come join us on the last Tuesday of every month @ 12 noon CDT.  Maria Barnes will be your host and we will cover lots of interesting topics related to Microsoft AEventsccess.  This is a free webinar for 1 hour, we look forward to meeting you!

Have you been avoiding creating custom Ribbons for your Access applications because you didn’t want to hassle with the XML?  You are not alone.  The Ribbon is highly customizable, but working with the Ribbon XML can be extremely frustrating.  The AccessUI Ribbon & Tree Builder is a new add-in that allows you to quickly build modern user interfaces for your Access applications, without ever touching the XML.

Additional, the Ribbon & Tree Builder allows you to rapidly build data navigation using a completely native treeview.  By simply creating a few queries and selecting a display form, you can build elaborate trees with no code… and no ActiveX controls to register.  In this session Kevin will give you a tour of the Ribbon & Tree Builder and show how easy it can be to add Ribbons and data navigation.

This month’s presentation will be by Kevin Bell.  Kevin started working professionally with Access in version 1.0 and has been working with SQL Server since version 4.21. For 15 years he ran a small consulting firm in Colorado that specialized in creating custom data driven applications on Access and SQL Server. In 2008 Kevin joined the Microsoft Access Team as a test engineer, working on the Access 2010, 2013 and 2016 releases. Kevin is now helping companies migrate their Access backends to the cloud. In his free time Kevin enjoys traveling the world searching for the perfect pint of ale.

We meet every last Tuesday of the month at 12 noon CDT.
