Our chapter president, Maria Barnes will show how she used the Web API in VBA template code from https://github.com/VBA-tools/VBA-Web to connect with Microsoft Graph API to send mail, create calendar events and work with contacts. This could be a viable option for when the New Outlook takes over and we can no longer connect with the Outlook COM Object Model from VBA. The security and setup is a bit complicated, learn the basics of it from an Access Developers mindset.
Also learn why working with Microsoft Graph can be so useful. Hint – it has nothing to do with graphing/charting! Microsoft Graph is the gateway to data and intelligence in Microsoft 365. It provides a unified programmability model that you can use to access the tremendous amount of data in Microsoft 365, Windows, and Enterprise Mobility + Security.
