We’ll explore the object model and how to document relationships in Access databases using VBA.
And we’ll look at the indexes required to support relationships.
even some of the undocumented options for relationships.
Kent will show us how to document relationships in SQL Server using system views.
After that we can have a discussion about the various options like cascading update and delete.
Can I use cascading updates in a relationship based on multiple fields? Simple answer is yes. Generally I’d advise againt using multiple fields in a relationship but you may have a use case where you think it may be a good idea.
